We think that surprises should always contain something good. That is why we would like to tell you everything important about our hotel in advance so that you can start your holiday well informed.

 

Scope of application

These general terms and conditions regulate the legal relationship between the guest and Stump's Alpenrose, Wildhaus. The basis for this is the reservation/order confirmation.

 

Reservation and confirmation

Reservations are confirmed to the guest in writing by e-mail or by post, short-term reservations can also be confirmed verbally at the guest's request. With the confirmation of the reservations, this is considered binding for the guest, at the same time he/she accepts these GTC. Changes to confirmations will be adjusted in writing. Cancellations and/or changes must be communicated in writing and in good time.

 

Premises and rooms

The rooms and furnishings listed in the reservation confirmation shall be made available to the guest in proper condition for the desired duration. Guests shall exercise care in the use of the rooms and their furnishings. Guests are obliged to show consideration towards other guests. If the guest has no complaints when taking possession of the rooms, the premises including the furnishings shall be deemed to be in perfect condition.

Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and throughout the premises. Smoking is permitted on the room balconies (with consideration for the neighbouring rooms). In the event of unlawful smoking in the room, the guest may be charged an appropriate cleaning fee, even after departure.

 

Number of guests / accompanying pets

The rooms are prepared according to the reservation confirmation. Changes in the number of persons per room will affect the room rate.

Bringing pets is subject to a surcharge. They must be registered when making the reservation. Staying with pets is not possible in all hotel rooms.

 

Barrier-free access

We have 3 barrier-free rooms in the standard category, with a shower seat on request. There is a stair lift that takes you to the reception on the first floor. You will also find a barrier-free toilet in the restaurant. A corresponding parking space is also available.

 

Prices / included services

The prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include the statutory VAT, but not the statutory visitor's tax.
Breakfast and wellness admission is included in the room rate. No reduction is granted for breakfast not being consumed. A price reduction can be made for groups, and the wellness admission can be excluded or agreed as an additional charge.

 

Terms of payment and means of payment

All costs listed in the reservation confirmation are decisive. The total amount includes all services used. In the case of an individual trip, payment is generally made on departure, unless the rate specifies otherwise. From an amount of CHF 1,000.00, 30% of the amount of the confirmation must be paid in advance.

Payment methods include cash (CHF/EURO), Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, WIR (30% of the total amount), Reka-Check, Postcard.

Cancellation conditions for individual guests

The following percentages will be charged for cancellations of individual rooms:

  • Cancellation on the day of arrival: 100%
  • Cancellation 1 day before arrival 75%
  • Cancellation 2 to 3 days before arrival 50%.
  • Cancellation 4 to 7 days before arrival 25%.
  • Cancellation more than 7 days before arrival 0%

 

Banquets, groups and meetings

From 10 rooms, the reservation counts as a group. The number of people you inform us of up to 72 hours before the banquet is decisive for us. We will tolerate deviations of 10% in relation to this number without charging. Larger deviations will be charged.

 

Stump's Alpenrose requires the final room list (first and last name, address, date of birth and possibly e-mail address) no less than 5 days before the day of arrival.

 

Room offer

Parties of 10 to 200 people will find the desired, undisturbed private atmosphere to give their occasions the required space in our variety of rooms. Seating is be arranged according to your personal wishes.

 

Decoration / flowers

Decoration appropriate to the occasion is part of our scope of services. This includes a white tablecloth with cloth serviettes, candles and a personally designed menu. If you wish, we can provide you with floral decorations that match the colour and design of your celebration in a harmonious flower bed.

 

Extension of the closing time

It is possible to extend the closing time beyond midnight. We charge the following fees to cover the wage costs and night work supplements:
– Up to 1 am CHF 100.00 per full hour and partial hour
– From 1 am CHF 200.00 per full hour and partial hour

 

Payment terms

For groups, 1/3 is prepaid upon booking, 1/3 upon arrival and 1/3 upon departure.


Cancellation policy
We charge the cancellation fee on the booked service for banquets and on the full board price for groups/meetings, according to the reserved number of persons and days.

  • Cancellation later than 13 days before arrival 100%.
  • Cancellation 14 days to 1 month before to arrival 80%.
  • Cancellation later than 2 months before arrival 40%.
  • Cancellation later than 3 months before arrival 20%.
  • Cancellation later than 4 months before arrival 10%.
  • Cancellation more than 4 months before arrival 0%.

 

Early departure

If one or more guests of the groups depart early, Stump's Alpenrose is entitled to charge 100% of the total booked services.

 

Arrival and departure

Booked rooms are available to the guest from 3 pm on the agreed day of arrival. If arrival is after 10 pm, the Alpenrose requires notification from the guest by 8.00 pm at the latest so that the handover of keys can be arranged. The rooms must be vacated by the guest by 11.00 am at the latest on the agreed day of departure. In the case of a "late check-out" (room kept until 6 pm), we charge CHF 50.00 per room.

 

No show

In the event of a cancellation at short notice after the cancellation deadline, the booked stay will be charged at 100% of the total amount.

 

Liability / Duty of care

The hotel room is to be used by the guest with the utmost care. The guest or the company must pay for any damage to property. The Alpenrose rejects any liability for theft etc. and in relation to services provided by third parties.

 

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Disputes are exclusively subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for the assessment of disputes is the district court of Toggenburg in Lichtensteig.
